None of us have lived in a world without war. The First World War was deemed to be the war to end all wars, however, the last century has brought about a massive advancement in technological and chemical warfare. War consumes our money and resources, and has extreme effects on our environment and health. Most significantly, it costs lives, mostly civilian lives. So what would a world without war look like? What are alternative solutions to conflict? How can we learn from the social movements that have occurred, and how do our UU values reflect this kind of global system?
