Letting Go

In the Zen tradition, there’s a saying that Zen mind is a beginner’s mind. Shunryu Suzuki, Zen Roshi said, “In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few.”  As we take on our monthly theme of new beginnings, let’s explore what it means to let go. Whether it’s unhelpful thoughts, unskillful behaviors, or ways of being that do not serve us well, let’s consider how we let go– to begin again, in love.
